Some people feel that as long as they go out on a date with another Christian, the date will be a success, but that is not always the case. Even with Christian dating, daters should be mindful of who it is that they choose to spend their extended time with. This is not to say that the individual should be equivalent to a Catholic saint, but this is to say that daters within the Christian community should look to select a person to whom they are compatible with. This is a person who they share the same day to day interests with, as well as that individual who shares those major core Christian beliefs that are of importance to the both of you.

For obvious reasons alone, you do not want to rush into things as a Christian who is out there in the dating pool. Further reasoning behind such a premise is that Christian dating is often a very precious process to both of the parties involved, so you do not want to unnecessarily run the process for any involved. If Christian daters are to take things slow, they have a better chance at making the most important connection with the other Christian dater, rather than simply a physical one. When Christians partake in Christian dating, there sometimes comes a point where one or both of the Christian daters lose themselves in the process. They begin to say things that they would not otherwise say, and do things that they would not otherwise do. It is important for the Christian daters to remain mindful of this factor, and try their very best to avoid such talk and behavior at all costs. After all, the love of God will always be faithful and true, even when their Christian dater potentially reaches a point where their love is not.
